Join us on Saturday, March 9, 2019 for Surf City Rotary Club of Huntington Beach's annual “Surf City SPLASH” fundraiser!
You'll enjoy a fun-filled dinner, silent and super silent auctions and dancing to the music of "Those Guys" at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort. Surf City SPLASH will raise funds for projects and organizations that help children and others in need. We hope you will join us at the event, as a sponsor, or auction item donor.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley is once again our premiere charity partner and we are proud to support the important work the Club does to benefit the children and families of our community. Surf City Rotary Club of Huntington Beach Charitable Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization. Your partnership with the Rotary Club will support human needs locally and internationally. Your gift of a sponsorship or auction items will make a difference to those in need both in our community and around the world. Here are a few of the projects that your support will make possible:
- Backpack Food Program: Providing backpacks full of food to help low-income children get through the weekend when they don’t have access to free lunches at school.
- Beach Cities Interfaith Services: Providing food and support for local families in need.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley: Supporting California’s 1st Boys & Girls Club on a college campus right here in Huntington Beach.
- Passports to Success: Reuniting siblings in Orange County separated by the foster care system.
- College Scholarships: Providing scholarships to deserving local college-bound students through the Joe Leick Memorial Scholarship.
- Pathways to Independence: Fostering profound and productive changes in the lives of young women in Orange County who have been traumatized by their family and abandoned by society
- Project Self Sufficiency: Helping low-income single parents in Huntington Beach complete their college education and achieve economic independence from government assistance.
- Off the Streets: Assistance with security deposits allowing homeless families to move into apartments.
- Rotary Clean Water Projects: Providing wells, water storage and purification, irrigation, and toilets for improved sanitation in countries around the world.
- Rotary International Polio Inoculation: Working to eradicate polio worldwide.
- Shoe the Kids: Providing shoes and socks annually to 300 Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley children in need.
Last year, supporters like you helped raise more than $100,000 at our event, which enabled Surf City Rotary Club to support worthy organizations like those listed above. This year we hope to be able to support even more organizations. Please give as generously as you can.
